Welcome

Welcome to Paperchain, our aim is to offer high quality childcare and education in a relaxed, safe and happy environment at an affordable price. Paperchain is privately owned and run by permanent, fully qualified staff offering care for up to 26 children per session. Our pre-school offers education, fun and care for children aged 2.5 years until they are able to take up a reception place at rising five.

‘Play is how your child learns and begins at a very early age, through experiences and activities we will help them progress along the early learning stepping stones’.

Our curriculum is staged appropriate and in line with the Government's framework - 'Birth to Five' and 'Foundation Stage' for ages 3 - 5.
We understand that all children are individuals. No matter how young they are they will come with a certain amount of knowledge and understanding. Our aim is to build upon this and encourage them to grow and develop in an enviroment that they enjoy.
Whatever stage your child is at when they join our pre-school, our planning and activities will be designed to meet their needs.

We offer :-

  • a specially tailored curriculum leading to the early learning goals (further information is available on the curriculum page)
  • individual care and attention
  • fun and friendships with children and other adults
  • the support of a personal key-worker

Paperchain is pleased to annouce that it has just received the ‘Herts Quality Standard’ Award (the Blue balloon).
This award shows :

  • the setting provides a high quality service and environment that exceeds Ofsted requirements
  • our staff understand the importance of building positive relationships with you, the child’s parent
